Hi, my dad actually owns one of Joan Eardley\'s pastels of Glasgow street kids. He bought it from her sister just after her death and it really is beautiful. He loaned in to the National Gallery in Edinburgh last year for the Joan Eardley exhibition.

My mother and two uncles (Margaret, Alan and Billy Livingstone) knew the Samsons and Joan Eardley, and my mother and one of my uncles sat for her "Brother and Sister" painting. Coincidently, my mother left Glasgow in her teens to live in London before emigrating to Australia, and ultimately returning to London.
