DEAR VALERIE WHAT A LOVELY SURPRISE I GOT WHEN I OPENED YOUR LETTER WITH THE PICTURE OF MY GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER THOMAS D RORISONS CLOCK. IT WAS VERY KIND OF YOU TO SEND IT .I REALLY APPRECIEATE IT. AT THE MOMENT I AM TRYING TO DO A FAMILY TREE AS MY 2 CHILDREN HAVE GROWON UP AND WANT TO KNOW WHERE THEY CAME FROM AND ANY INFORMATION IS MORE THAN WELCOME.I HAVE TOLD THEM ABOUT THE ATLANTIC CABLE, THE BUG, AND THE SEAL I REMEMBER SEEING THEM WHEN I WAS A LOT YOUNGER BUT HAVE NO PHOTOS OF THEM I DONT KNOW WHEN THE CLOCK WAS GIVEN TO THE MUSEUM OR ANY OF THE OTHER ITEMS WISH I HAD LISTENED TO MY GRANNY I WILL CLOSE FOR NOW THANK YOU VERY MUCH. ON THE 14-7-1877 MY GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER T.D.RORISON WAS PRESENTED A GOLD CLOCK WITH A MAN AND LADY EACH SIDE OF THE CLOCK FACE.THERE IS A FEW THINGS AS WELL THAT WAS GIVEN TO THE MUSEUM A LARGE BEETLE,ANIMAL SEAL,A PIECE OF ATLANTIC CABLE,IS IT POSSIBLE TO VIEW THEM ON THE INTERNET AND GET SOME PHOTES OF THEM.I AM LIVEING IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA.HOPE YOU CAN HELP
