Background information
There are 2 exhibition spaces: The Georgian Gallery showing University's permanent collection of Old Master paintings and bronzes; and the Contemporary Gallery showing up to 7 exhibitions a year of mid-career Scottish painters, sculptors etc. and group shows of younger artists as well as occasional historical exhibitions.

The Gallery also shows a new programme of experimental projects in the Round Room that coincide with the Contemporary Gallery's exhibition programme.
