I too sat for a portrait by Louisa Hodgson in the 1950s,she also did a drawing of my sister which I am led to believe hung in the Hatton Gallery for a while. I am interested in finding out more about Louisa and see some of her other art works.

Hi I sat for Louisa Hodgson in th 1950\'s, for a painting she did of The Haven beach at Tynemouth I was about 9 or 10 years old and I was sat on a upturned wooden rowing boat holding a bird or swan? Would you have any idea where this painting may be. I live in Australia ,and vist the UK each year, and would love to see it. Regards Diane Hayes.
